Commissioning of MEP for 175,000 sf upfit of an existing 250,000 sf industrial building into a “center for advanced manufacturing” that will house its transportation and welding programs, as well as flex lab space for large companies to train employees Systems commissioned were central chiller/boiler system (including reuse of an existing chiller that required special integration), multiple air handlers, VAV systems, infrared heaters, and Allerton building automation system with full integration. Existing cooling towers were reused and had to be commissioned as well as lighting controls and hot water distribution. We worked extensively with the owner to help solve several design and installation problems to their satisfaction.
